Type of Plan
Ask about your firm's Westlaw pricing plan. The plan will determine which databases you can access for your searches. The firm might have a fixed/flat rate plan, a WestlawPRO® plan, or a pay-as-you-go plan.
Plan Content
Ask your West account manager, librarian, or West contact about the databases included in the firm's pricing plan. You can control research costs by searching only those materials in the plan. If the firm has a WestlawPRO plan, you can determine which databases are in the plan by clicking Directory at the top of any Westlaw page.
Policy on searching outside the plan
Charges are incurred if you search in materials outside the pricing plan. Ask the librarian or West contact about the firm's policy on searching in materials outside the plan.
