Wendy Maines manages West's Librarian Relations in the District of Columbia (with Cindy Carlson). She is a key customer contact for law librarians, serving as a consultant who helps to ensure librarians get the most out of their relationship with West. For over 10 years, Wendy has worked with law librarians from private law firms, academia, and government agencies. She also has worked as a reference librarian for the Legal Information Center at the University of Florida, Levin College of Law.

She is an active member of several law librarian associations on both national and regional levels. Wendy acted as the Program Chair of the Legal Division for the SLA 2006 Annual Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her J.D. from the University of Florida, and the Law Library Journal published her senior thesis. Additional publications include articles in the Testifying Expert and Law Librarians in the New Millennium. Wendy obtained her M.S.L.S. degree from Catholic University of America.
