Martin is a founding partner of Martin, Disiere, Jefferson & Wisdom, LLP in Houston where he specializes in first-party insurance litigation and coverage disputes. Mr. Martin serves as the Adjunct Professor of Insurance Law at the University of Houston Law Center. Mr. Martin is Board Certified in Consumer Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Martin received his law degree from Baylor University School of Law.

Mr. Martin was named one of the Top 40 Lawyers in Texas under 40 in September 2001, one of the top five “Go To” Insurance Lawyers in Texas by The Texas Lawyer, October 2002 and was recognized as one of the top four insurance lawyers in Texas by Chambers USA Guide to America's Leading Business Lawyers in both 2003 and 2004.
