Eisenberg has worked on hundreds of appeals, first as a staff attorney for the Court of Appeal, First Appellate District, subsequently as an Oakland-based appellate practitioner with the Encino civil appellate law firm of Horvitz & Levy, and now with the San Francisco Bay Area appellate law firm of Eisenberg & Hancock. He is a graduate of University of California Hastings College of Law, where he was Order of the Coif and a law review editor and now teaches appellate procedure. Mr. Eisenberg has written extensively on civil appeals and also has lectured on this subject in continuing legal education programs. He is director of civil appeals and writs programs presented by The Rutter Group.
