Sheldon H. Nahmod is a Distinguished Professor of Law at Chicago - Kent College of Law, the Illinois Institute of Technology. A graduate of the University of Chicago and Harvard Law School, he has practiced law in Illinois and Pennsylvania and has written and lectured extensively on civil rights and civil liberties issues. Professor Nahmod has argued many civil rights case before the United States Supreme Court and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals and is a leading expert on constitutional law, civil rights, and the law of Section 1983.
