Bruce is a Professor of Law at Vanderbilt University. He teaches and writes primarily in the area of real property. His articles and essays have appeared in periodicals such as the
Georgetown Law Journal, Hastings Law Journal, Houston Law Review, and
Wake Forest Law Review.
Professor Bruce received his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Hanover College and his J.D. degree from the College of William and Mary.
