Molly M. Wood practices elder law in Lawrence and Topeka, KS, as a partner with Stevens & Brand, LLP. She also directs the Elder Law Clinic at the University of Kansas where she is a Visiting Professor of Law. She writes for and speaks to a wide variety of audiences about elder law issues, particularly those involving access to long-term care, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and other public benefits. Ms. Wood coauthored Elder Law: Readings, Cases, and Materials, 3d (Lexis-Nexis, 2006, with Thomas P. Gallanis and A. Kimberley Dayton) and edited the Kansas Long-Term Care Handbook (Kansas Bar Association, 2001). She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (and chairs the Kansas NAELA Chapter), the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Kansas Bar Association, and the Judge Hugh Means American Inn of Court.
