Melley is an attorney associated with the National Legal Research Group, Inc. She served as a law clerk for the Washington State Court of Appeals and maintained a private appellate practice before turning her efforts to legal writing and research. She graduated from the University of Miami School of Law and earned an LL.M. from Temple University School of Law. Melley is the author of a number of other publications relating to summary judgment and related termination motions.
