Newman is a trial attorney who specializes in the area of personal injury actions. She is an associate at Weinstein, Schleifer & Kupersmith, P.C., a Philadelphia-based law firm specializing in personal injury and workers compensation matters. Newman practices throughout the state of Pennsylvania in matters involving motor vehicle accidents; slip, trip, and fall accidents; premises liability; and bad faith actions. She also handles a variety of general practice and appellate matters.
Newman is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. She earned her undergraduate degree in business/marketing at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and an M.B.A. in marketing at the University of Pittsburgh where she was a research scholar. She earned her law degree at Hofstra University in New York. During college and graduate business school, Newman conducted marketing research studies for local businesses and developed recommendations to achieve their business objectives. After law school, she was a law clerk for six years in the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia, Pa., where she drafted judicial opinions and briefs regarding various evidentiary and trial matters. She has handled pro bono cases for the Bankruptcy Assistance Project, Support Center for Child Advocates, Legal Aid, and September 11th Victims Compensation Fund.
