Michael A. Branca is a partner at Peckar & Abramson and specializes in construction and public contract law. Mr. Branca is a member of the bars of Virginia and the District of Columbia. Mr. Branca's construction law practice includes the representation of general contractors, construction managers, and other industry participants. Mr. Branca has provided a wide range of services to his clients including the review and negotiation of contracts, bid protests, contract administration, preparation of claims, perfection and enforcement of mechanics’ liens and bond claims and the litigation of disputes. Mr. Branca also counsels his clients extensively on the compliance matters. Mr. Branca is a member of the Board of Governors of the Construction and Public Contract Law Section of the Virginia State Bar. Mr. Branca also is currently the Chair of the Government Contracts Section of the Federal Bar Association. Mr. Branca received his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Virginia in 1990, and his Juris Doctor with Distinction from George Mason University in 1993.
