Trevor Potter
Potter is a partner of the law firm of Wiley, Rein & Fielding in Washington, D.C.

A former Commissioner and Chairman of the Federal Election Commission, Mr. Potter advises corporations, trade associates, and political committees on federal, state, and local campaign finance, lobbying disclosure, and government ethics rules. He also advises clients on appropriate guidelines for compliance with regulations on the use of corporation resources for political purposes, including PAC activities, registration and disclosure requirements of lobbying laws, and interpretations of the House and Senate Rules.

Mr. Potter is a former chair of the American Bar Association Election Law Committee, Section on Administrative Law, 1993-95, and is currently a Member of the Council of the ABA Administration Law and Regulatory Practice Section; and a Liaison to the ABA Standing Committee on Election Law. He is a frequent speaker at conferences on election law and lobbying disclosure issues.
