Phyllis Weiss Haserot is the president and founder of Practice Development Counsel, a business development and organizational effectiveness consulting and coaching firm, and its newer division AuthenticWorks™. She works with firms on strategic marketing planning, training and coaching, intergenerational relations, influence strategies, retention and integration, client-relationship management, implementing flexibility, collaborative culture and workplace conflict resolution.

She received her bachelor’s and master of regional planning degrees and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Cornell University. Ms. Haserot has been widely published and quoted in the legal and business press. She is co-founder of Legal Marketing Association, Metropolitan New York Chapter; and American Marketing Association, Professional Services Marketing Leadership Council. Other memberships include: the American Bar Association’s Law Practice Management Section, Work-Life Excellence Task Force; the International Association of Coaches; the New York City Midtown Coaching Center; and President’s Council of Cornell Women.

Ms. Haserot has spoken before numerous audiences, including bar and CPA associations, law and accounting/consulting firms, in-house marketing executives, corporate communication groups and non-profit organizations. She also was the moderator of the Client Development Forum on two major professional online sites, and has served as a panelist for many other online seminars.
