Phyllis Weiss Haserot is the president and founder of Practice Development Counsel, a business development and organizational effectiveness consulting and coaching firm, and its newer division AuthenticWorks. She works with firms on strategic marketing planning, training and coaching, intergenerational relations, influence strategies, retention and integration, client-relationship management, implementing flexibility, collaborative culture and workplace conflict resolution.
She received her bachelors and master of regional planning degrees and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Cornell University. Ms. Haserot has been widely published and quoted in the legal and business press. She is co-founder of Legal Marketing Association, Metropolitan New York Chapter; and American Marketing Association, Professional Services Marketing Leadership Council. Other memberships include: the American Bar Associations Law Practice Management Section, Work-Life Excellence Task Force; the International Association of Coaches; the New York City Midtown Coaching Center; and Presidents Council of Cornell Women.
Ms. Haserot has spoken before numerous audiences, including bar and CPA associations, law and accounting/consulting firms, in-house marketing executives, corporate communication groups and non-profit organizations. She also was the moderator of the Client Development Forum on two major professional online sites, and has served as a panelist for many other online seminars.
