Austin T. Fragomen Jr. is co-managing partner at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, P.C., which handles immigration law matters in New York City and 26 other offices in the United States and abroad. A practitioner with more than 30 years experience in immigration law, he served as staff counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship and International Law from 1968 to 1970. Fragomen is vice chairman of the board of directors of the Center for Migration Studies, chairman of the board of directors of the American Council on International Personnel, and chairman of the Practising Law Institute's Annual Immigration Institute. In addition, he serves on the editorial board of the International Migration Review.
