Greenwald is a litigation attorney specializing in legal research and writing and also works as a freelance legal consultant and brief writer. She is often hired by New York attorneys to draft appeals, motions and accompanying documents. She began her career with the New York City office of Mayer, Brown & Platt (now Mayer, Brown, Rowe and Maw) and later moved to the Ithaca office of Harris Beach & Wilcox (now Harris Beach).

Greenwald is a graduate of Cornell University School of Arts & Sciences and Cornell Law School.
