John S. Dzienkowski
Dzienkowski is the Dean John F. Sutton, Jr. Chair in Lawyering and the Legal Process at the University of Texas School of Law at Austin. He specializes in teaching and writing about the professional responsibility of lawyers, real property, international energy transactions, and oil and gas taxation.

He is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and a high honors graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. Dzienkowski is a two-term member of the drafting committee for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination. He also is widely regarded as one of the most dynamic and effective speakers on topics of professional responsibility, delivering nearly 100 ethics presentations to in-house corporate departments, large and small law firms, state bar continuing legal education programs, and law faculties nationwide.

Dzienkowski has been a visiting professor at several universities, including visiting the University of Florida Levin College of Law in spring 2002 as the Hurst Eminent Visiting Scholar and visiting the University of Alabama School of Law in fall 2002 as the Francis Hare Visiting Chair in Tort Law. He received the Texas Exes Faculty Teaching Award for teaching excellence in 2004.
