Thomas M. Domer
Attorney Thomas M. Domer has over 30 years of experience representing injured workers in Wisconsin. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America, and his peers continually recognize him as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer for workers’ compensation. Tom teaches the workers’ compensation course at Marquette University Law School—providing the instruction and training for many other lawyers. He lectures frequently around the state and nation (including the State Bar of Wisconsin, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and the University of Wisconsin School for Worker's Compensation Institute). His national and international presentations on workers’ compensation practice and ethics for lawyers and law students—and long-term advocacy for injured workers— earned him election as a Charter Member of the American Bar Association’s College of Worker’s Compensation Lawyers. He also is also a prolific writer, editing the national magazine Workers’ First Watch, co-authoring over two dozen workers’ compensation texts, and is regularly quoted in the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel. He belongs to numerous professional organizations: Workers Injury Law & Advocacy Group-WILG (National Board of Directors); Wisconsin Association of Justice (Worker's Compensation Committee); American Association of Justice (Past Chair, Workers' Compensation Section); Wisconsin Association of Worker's Compensation Attorneys; and the American, State and Milwaukee Bar associations. Tom also remains an active community member, tutoring GED students at Milwaukee’s Adult Learning Center, and has served on the Board (as past chair) at Dominican High School. Tom earned all his degrees in Wisconsin: B.A.(St. Norbert), M.A.(UW-Milwaukee), Ph.D.(Marquette), and J.D.(UW-Madison).
