Lewis D. Kuhl is a senior associate with Pathman Lewis LLP. He concentrates his practice in the area of motor vehicle dealer and automotive industry law and the wide variety of issues affecting the industry. He brings more than twenty years of legal experience to the firm including significant experience with industry issues from various points of view. Before joining Pathman Lewis, Mr. Kuhl was senior counsel for the JM&A Group. Prior to joining the JM Family Enterprises Inc. companies, he served in both legal and operational positions with a Louisville, Kentucky-based, closely held group of companies comprised of motor vehicle rental operations, motor vehicle dealerships, and an automotive finance company with locations in the southeast and Midwest. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and Northern Kentucky University, Salmon P. Chase College of Law. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the National Association of Dealer Counsel, the Florida Auto Dealers Association, the Florida Independent Auto Dealers Association, and the National Independent Auto Dealers Association. In addition, Mr. Kuhl has been a frequent speaker to dealers, dealer groups, state dealer associations, and other industry associations on a wide variety of automotive industry related topics and issues.
