Ann E. Conaway
Ann E. Conaway is Professor of Law at Widener University School of Law, in Wilmington, Delaware, where she teaches courses on business organizations and securities regulation. Prior to teaching, she was an associate in the Wilmington, Delaware office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. She also served as Judicial Clerk for The Honorable Henry R. Horsey, Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court. She graduated cum laude from Temple University School of Law, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and received both her B.A. and M.A.(with honors) from the University of Georgia. Ms. Conaway is a member of The American Law Institute (ALI), a Commissioner to the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws (NCCUSL), and the NCCUSL Reporter to the Joint NCCUSL-ABA drafting project. She currently serves on several standing committees in NCCUSL. She was a Master in Chancery pro hac vice (1990-1992) for the Court of Chancery for the State of Delaware. Ms. Conaway is the author of articles on issues concerning corporations and unincorporated entities, and participated in a number of seminars on that subject.
