Peter A. Davidson, managing partner of Moldo Davidson Fraioli Seror & Sestanovich LLP, represents bankruptcy trustees, debtors, creditors, and creditors committees in the bankruptcy court. He also specializes in representing receivers in state and federal court and frequently acts as a receiver and a court appointed monitor or custodian. Many of the receivership cases handled by Mr. Davidson involve enforcement actions by government agencies such as the Federal Trade Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, California Department of Corporations, and California Attorney General. He has handed complicated partnership and corporate dispute receiverships, including the liquidation of several major law firms, and a number of receivership and bankruptcy cases arising out of Ponzi schemes or other white-collar crime. He is a past president of the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum; former co-chair of the Los Angeles/Orange County Receivers Forum; former editor-in-chief of its publication, Receivership News; writes a quarterly column Ask the Receiver; acts as an editor for the California Bankruptcy Journal; and is a member of the Executive Committee and a past chair of the Remedies Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
