Ms. Furman advises fund sponsors in the structuring and formation of investment funds and fund investors in reviewing and negotiating the terms of their investments. She routinely counsels such clients on exemptions and other compliance matters under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
