Angela G. Carlin
Carlin is a partner in the Cleveland law firm of Weston, Hurd, Fallon, Paisely and Howley. She received her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University and her law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

Prior to joining her former law firm of Rippner, Schwartz & Carlin, Ms. Carlin practiced as a sole practitioner and worked for Banks-Baldwin Law Publishing Company as an editor.

Ms. Carlin writes and has lectured extensively on probate law and practice for, among others, the Ohio CLE Institute, the Ohio, Cleveland, and Cuyahoga County Bar Associations, the Ohio Legal Center Institute, and the Case Western Reserve University Estate Planning Seminar. She has served as a member of the Probate and Trust Law Section of the Cleveland and Ohio State Bar Associations and as co-chair of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association Probate Committee. She is also a member of the American Bar Association.

She contributes articles on probate and trust case law regularly to the Probate Law Journal of Ohio.

Recognized in Who's Who in the Midwest and Who's Who, American Women in Law, Ms. Carlin has been named an “Accomplished Graduate” by Bowling Green State University. Ms. Carlin was admitted to the Society of Benchers at Case Western Reserve University School of Law in recognition of her contributions to the profession of law. In 1996 she received the Ohio State Bar Association's Women in the Profession Section's Nettie Cronise Lutes Award in recognition of her high level of professionalism and commitment to women in the law.
