Talcott J. Franklin is a partner in the Dallas office of Patton Boggs LLP, which focuses primarily on securitized lending transactions, banking, and real estate. His cases have involved issues such as breaches of origination, interim servicing, loan payment, and loan security representations; duties of all parties to the PSA and MLPA; reinsurance; resecuratization; B-piece due diligence; post-breach mitigation; subordination levels; and a host of other issues related to securitizations of franchise, residential, and commercial mortgage loans. Mr. Franklin has also defended securitized trusts against borrower claims of fraud and improper servicing, and pursued on behalf of securitized trusts assets from borrowers and insurers.
