Michael Pane, Jr.
Pane focuses his practice in the areas of commercial transactions and real estate, including negotiation of agreements for the purchase, sale, and development of real property; financing of land acquisition and construction; leasing; obtaining approvals for development; litigation relating to land use and local government matters; real estate and contracts; and general business and municipal law consultation.

Pane is experienced in many aspects of municipal law and real estate acquisition, financing, and development including agreement, title closing and loan document preparation, negotiation and review, construction financing on behalf of borrowers and banks, complex leasing transactions, and perfection of government approvals for land use development. He counsels clients in for-profit and nonprofit businesses on many different aspects of municipal and county government in New Jersey; conducts legal research under federal, state, and local laws; and conducts title review, review of municipal approvals, and preparation of legal memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents for the purpose of advising on commercial transactions, the development suitability of property, and the litigation of disputes in these areas.

Pane is a member of the bar of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, New Jersey, and New York. He received his bachelor of arts degree from Miami University in 1989, his juris doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1992, and his LL.M. from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in 1993. In 2007, Pane was named a Super Lawyers New Jersey Rising Star.
