Schrantz is a partner in the Chicago office of Jenner & Block LLP, where she is a member of the firms Litigation, Complex Commercial Litigation, and Communications practices. She has represented clients in complex civil matters, regulatory proceedings, internal investigations, and criminal matters. She has also litigated a number of privilege and discovery issues.
Schrantz received her B.A. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, in 1997 with high distinction in English. She obtained her J.D. cum laude from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington, where she served as a notes editor on the board of the Indiana Law Journal. She has co-authored articles and presentations on privilege issues in the context of civil discovery, internal investigations, and corporate compliance.
From 2000 to the present, Schrantz has practiced at Jenner & Block, and has been an active member of the Women's Forum Steering Committee at the firm. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association. She is also a member of the Illinois Bar; United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit; United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois; and United States District Court, Central District of Illinois.
