Greenwald, a partner in the Chicago office of Jenner & Block LLP, represents both policyholders and reinsurers in insurance coverage matters. He also assists clients with other types of complex litigation, including internal investigations, trials and appeals for defense industry-related programs involving contract claims, False Claims Act issues that include
qui tam actions, and pricing issues.
Greenwald is a member of the Illinois Bar; the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, including Trial Bar; the United States Court of Federal Claims; the United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit; and the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan. He received his A.B. cum laude in 1983 from Georgetown University in English and government. He received his J.D. with honors from the University of Michigan Law School in 1986.
Greenwald frequently publishes and speaks on the topic of maximizing the protections afforded by the attorney-client privilege and work-product doctrine, particularly with respect to the work of in-house counsel.
