Gleisner is an accomplished trial lawyer and experienced computerized litigation specialist. He has extensive training and background in all forms of computerized litigation, electronic document management, and electronic discovery. Mr. Gleisner is a Summation Certified Trainer (SCT) and a former Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and has provided Summation training and electronic litigation support to numerous small and large law firms throughout the United States.
As a trial lawyer, Gleisner has participated in numerous cases involving digital evidence. In Cliff v. DaimlerChrysler Corporation he supervised extensive electronic discovery and persuaded the court to grant an order, on a motion for sanctions against the defendant, permitting direct access to DaimlerChryslers corporate databases.
Mr. Gleisner is a past General Counsel for the National Federation of the Blind developing and prosecuting constitutional challenges and civil rights litigation. He has also served as an officer and member of the board of the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has served as Chair of the Academys Amicus Curiae Brief Committee since 2000 and has participated in numerous appellate cases pending before the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Wisconsin. In addition to co-authoring eDiscovery, Gleisner is a frequent contributor to the Wisconsin Lawyermagazine on the topics of digital evidence and technology. He is a past recipient of the Charles Dunn Author Award for writing excellence and received the Leader in the Law Award for 2005 from the Wisconsin Law Journal eDiscovery & Digital Evidence
