Thomas J. Vesper
Mr. Vesper is a senior partner in the Atlantic City, N.J. law firm Westmoreland, Vesper & Quattrone, specializing in personal injury and wrongful death cases. Other expertise includes products liability, professional negligence, consumer fraud and complex litigation. He also is credited with helping change the rights of fire, police and emergency personnel if they are seriously injured or killed on the job to help their families recover damages.

He was admitted to the bar of New Jersey in 1973. He received his bachelor of arts degree, cum laude, from Villanova University and his doctorate in law from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden, where he was a writer for the Rutgers Law Journal. He also served in the U.S. Marine Forces Reserve for 23 years.

Mr. Vesper is the author of nine books and more than 50 articles on trial advocacy and plaintiff practice. He is the past president of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America – New Jersey; a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers; a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Southern New Jersey Chapter; and founding member of Trial Lawyers for Public Justice. Mr. Vesper also is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.

He teaches and lectures at trial lawyer conferences throughout the country, including the National College of Trial Advocacy at Harvard Law School and Duke University School of Law. He is listed in the The Best Lawyers in America publication for the personal injury category. Mr. Vesper also is certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the New Jersey Supreme Court.
