Mr. Hardy is an associate professor of finance at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Ala. His areas of expertise include workers compensation, business law and employee rights. He is admitted to practice in Mississippi, as well before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
He received a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, a juris doctor degree from the University of Mississippi and a master of laws degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Hardy also participated in advanced legal studies at Harvard Law School and Downing College, one of the constituent colleges of the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Hardys most recent writing credits include The Bankrupts Employment Claim-List It or Lose It, The Labor Lawyer (2002). He also has written for the Trial Lawyers Guide, American Journal of Criminal Law and Mississippi Law Journal. He is a member of the international Academy of Legal Studies in Business. Mr. Hardy also has won several awards for excellence in teaching, service and research.
