A founding partner of the Laguna Beach law firm Levin & Hawes. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois in 1957, a Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University in 1961, and Master of Business Administration degree from Boston University in 1970. He has been admitted to practice before all courts in the States of California and Massachusetts, and in the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Canadian Patent Office.
