Linda Miller Atkinson
A partner in the law firm of Philo, Atkinson, Stephens, Wright, Whitaker & Philo where she manages the firm’s Northwoods Office in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. She received her law degree from Wayne State University in Detroit in 1973, and is licensed to practice in Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin.

Ms. Atkinson is a plaintiff’s personal injury trial lawyer, a certified federal facilitative mediator, and a Sagola Township trustee.

Ms. Atkinson presently serves as an officer of the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, and on ATLA’s NCA Board and Legal Affairs Committee. She has served on the Michigan State Bar Judicial Qualifications Committee and the Upper Michigan Lawyers Committee, the editorial board of the Federal Litigation Guide Reporter and the Trial Lawyer Journal. Ms. Atkinson is an editor and contributing author of TORTS: Michigan Law and Practice, 3d, (2001), published by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
