Ms. Alexander obtained her law degree at the University of Santa Clara and her Master of Public Health degree at UC Berkeley. Prior to her legal career, she was engaged in scientific research in medical toxicology and was director of environmental health at the Stanford Research Institute. In 1990, the San Francisco Chronicle named Ms. Alexander one of the top ten trial lawyers in the Bay Area. Ms. Alexander’s record verdicts include $13.3 million in a bicycle products liability case, $2.2 million in a California asbestos case and $4 million for a pedestrian hit by a San Francisco city bus. She is President of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, a past president of the Consumer Attorneys of California, and is a member to the American Board of Trial Advocates.
