Ms. King is a professor at Vanderbilt University Law School, teaching courses on criminal law, criminal procedure, white-collar crime, and evidence. She received a bachelor of arts degree from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, and a juris doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School.
Among her legal affiliations, Professor King has served on the Advisory Committee for the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, and co-chairs the Jury Center Advisory Committee for the American Judicature Society. She also is a frequent contributor to conferences on jury research and post-investigative features of the criminal process, including plea bargaining, trials, evidence, sentencing, double jeopardy, and post-conviction review.
Additionally, she has been a visiting professor at the University of Michigan Law School and a visiting scholar at Northwestern University Law School.
