ImmForms Plus™ 5.5 (Form Update 2)
Before loading this update, you must have already installed 5.5 (Form Update 1) and the 5.5 CD.
5.5 Form Update 2 includes the following new or revised forms:
- G-28 (4/22/09 rev.), Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Accredited Representative (nonspecific-use G28)
- G-28D (4/22/09 rev.), Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Accredited Representative - Dependent Applicant (G28, fills with dependent information)
- G-28E (4/22/09 rev.), Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Accredited Representative - Employment Petitioner (G28, fills with employer information)
- G-28F (4/22/09 rev.), Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Accredited Representative - Family Member Petitioner (G-28, fills with family member petitioner information)
- G-28I (4/22/09), Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney in Matters Outside the Geographical Confines of the United States (new form)
- G-28P (4/22/09 rev.), Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Accredited Representative - Principal Applicant (G-28, fills with principal-applicant information)
- G-28S (4/22/09 rev.), Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Accredited Representative - Spouse Applicant (G-28, fills with spouse information)
NAMING CONVENTIONS
The naming convention for ImmForms Plus™ now distinguishes between two types of web-based software releases, as well as CDs which are shipped twice each year. One type of software release, a "Service Pack," contains upgrades to software functionality and is designated by a 3-digit number based on the release number for the CD it follows. So Service Pack 5.0.1 was the first release of functional changes in the software following CD 5.0.
The other software release is comprised only of forms (updated, revised, or new). It is designated by the label "(Form Update X)," appended to the prior CD's or service pack's release number. For example, the first form-only software release after Service Pack 5.0.1 was named 5.0.1 (Form Update 1) and the next one was 5.0.1 (Form Update 2).
