Norton III incorporate recent developments in bankruptcy law, including the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act (BAPCPA) of 2005 and case law interpreting the Act. Forms and practice aids are now located in related chapter appendixes rather than in separate volumes.

The treatise is updated quarterly with a combination of revised chapters and cumulative supplements.
