What's New for Law Librarians

AALL Was a Big Success!
Thanks to all of you who visited the West Booth in the Exhibit Hall, and attended our sponsored programs and events. Law librarians made the world a little greener when they viewed product demonstrations. For each summer camp card completed at our AALL booth, West made a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation for a total of over $3,500! Librarians were able to color in a flower after completing their card.
Our Town Hall program was very well received once again this year, and many of you asked for documentation. West's 2008 white paper "Partnership and Solutions for Preparing Job-Ready Attorneys" continues the discussion from our 2007 white paper "Research Skills for Lawyers and Law Students" which documented the gap between desired and actual research skills among new associates. The session was taped and we will post a link to it soon.
Part of the Town Hall included a video interview with West key author Arthur Miller.
Listen to Anne Ellis’ podcast, "Librarians and Legal Research!"
Watch "The Faces of West" Video, featured in the Tech Tent.
