Thomson Reuters Announces New Federal Government Initiative
Pamela Graff Joins as General Manager
Washington, D.C., Dec. 30, 2008 - Thomson Reuters, the world's leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, has launched a new federal government initiative that will work across the entire company, developing information solutions and services tailored to the unique needs of U.S. government customers. It will draw on existing legal, scientific, tax and other specialized products in an expanded approach to serving an increasingly important, highly specialized customer base for the company.
Joining Thomson Reuters to lead this new organization as General Manager, Federal Government Initiative, is Pamela Graff. Graff will report to Kurt Lieberman, senior vice president of the Professional Division. Graff has been successful leading businesses for more than a decade, especially in the healthcare industry and the federal government marketplace. Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, she was president of PhyAmerica Government Services, where she helped double the firm's government services revenue since 2007.
As general manager, Graff will lead the evolution of the Federal Government Initiative and build a leadership team. She will work across Thomson Reuters Markets and Professional Divisions to integrate existing products into a single powerful resource serving the federal government.
"The Federal Government business unit represents a significant growth opportunity for Thomson Reuters," said Lieberman. "We're thrilled to bring Pam on to lead this important initiative. She has strong relationships with key government agencies and brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge to this position. Pam also has an excellent reputation in the government sector, which will serve her and our business well in this new venture."
