Thomson Reuters, Legal in the Community

Established in 1998, the Community Relations Program oversees the philanthropic activities of the legal businesses of Thomson Reuters and its family of products and services. We direct our charitable activities in four focus areas:

• Educating the future work force
• Providing arts and cultural experiences to the community
• Developing and strengthening youth, families, and communities
• Advancing legal services

Our commitment to the community includes:

Workplace Giving Campaigns
We sponsor workplace giving campaigns which offer employees the opportunity to join together and give back to those who need assistance in the communities where we work and live.

Community Grants and In-Kind Contributions
We award charitable cash grants and in-kind contributions to nonprofit organizations whose mission falls within our focus areas and who have the support and involvement of our employees.

Volunteer Programs
We're dedicated to making a lasting impact on our communities by providing employees with a broad range of volunteer opportunities. Our employees get paid time off to volunteer for certain volunteer activities through our paid time off to volunteer program.
